GRATITUDE
As this year wraps up, we have so much to reflect on. I am so grateful to this amazing community of teachers, students and parents. This year Eagleton students have shown incredible growth in both reading and math. They have developed social emotional skills that will set them up for future success. The power of 3 has come to life and we hope you can see it at home too. Our kids have gotten to go on many field trips, had several special assemblies and really grown as a cohesive community of learners. Thank you for all your support throughout the year.

TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK
The week of May 6-10 is a special week to honor our teachers and support staff. Eagleton teachers are some of the best in the city. They care so much for our students, work so hard to make sure everyone gets what they need and give of themselves each and every day. We will be celebrating our wonderful teachers all through the week with special treats. Perhaps you might like to do something special for the incredible Eagleton teachers during this week also. Get creative and see what your kids might like to do for their teachers.
BULLYING PREVENTION AND EDUCATION
We are very proud of the work we did this year to improve the climate and reduce bullying at Eagleton. We were fortunate to receive funds from the state to support anti-bullying efforts. We are able to use these funds to pay for Mr. Simmons and a great curriculum to teach strategies to deal with bullying issues. We received the Anti-bullying grant again from the state and will be able to continue these efforts for another 3 years! Please let us know if you would like to get involved. We are always looking for parents to support our efforts to teach our students positive ways to deal with conflict.
SUMMER ACTIVITIES- "MY DENVER CARD"
Summer is right around the corner. We are lucky to live in a great city with lots to do. Take advantage of the amazing parks all around- the amazing playground at Paco Sanchez, Barnum pool and rec center, Rude rec center, Sloan's Lake and more. Help your children sign up for "My Denver Card" at any recreation center in Denver. "My Denver Card" provides all kids (ages 5-18) in Denver free access to Denver recreation centers, pools and cultural activities.

GRATITUD
A medida que este año concluye, tenemos mucho en que reflexionar. Estoy muy agradecida con esta increíble comunidad de maestros, estudiantes y padres. Este año, los estudiantes de Eagleton han mostrado un increíble crecimiento tanto en lectura como en matemáticas. Han desarrollado habilidades socioemocionales que los prepararán para un futuro exitoso. El poder de los 3 ha cobrado vida y esperamos que pueda verlo en casa también. Nuestros niños han ido a muchos paseos, han tenido varias asambleas especiales y han crecido realmente como una comunidad de estudiantes unidos. Gracias por todo su apoyo durante todo el año.

SEMANA DE GRATITUD PARA MAESTROS
La semana del 6 al 10 de mayo es una semana especial para honrar a nuestros maestros y personal de apoyo. Los maestros de Eagleton son algunos de los mejores en la ciudad. Se preocupan tanto por nuestros estudiantes, trabajan arduamente para asegurarse de que todos reciban lo que necesitan y se dan de sí mismos todos los días. Estaremos celebrando a nuestros maravillosos maestros durante toda la semana con golosinas especiales. Quizás también a usted le gustaría hacer algo especial para los increíbles maestros de Eagleton durante esta semana. Sea creativo y vea lo que a sus hijos les gustaría hacer por sus maestros.
LA PREVENCIÓN Y EDUCACIÓN DEL INTIMIDACIÓN
Estamos muy orgullosos del trabajo que hicimos este año para mejorar el clima y reducir la intimidación en Eagleton. Tuvimos la suerte de recibir fondos del estado para apoyar los esfuerzos contra el acoso escolar. Pudimos usar estos fondos para pagarle al Sr. Simmons y comprar un excelente plan de estudios para enseñar estrategias para enfrentar los problemas de acoso escolar. Recibimos nuevamente la subvención contra el acoso escolar del estado y podremos continuar estos esfuerzos por otros 3 años. Por favor, háganos saber si desea participar. Siempre estamos buscando padres que apoyen nuestros esfuerzos para enseñar a nuestros estudiantes en maneras positivas para lidiar con los conflictos.
ACTIVIDADES DEL VERANO- "MY DENVER CARD"
El verano está a la vuelta de la esquina. Tenemos la suerte de vivir en una gran ciudad con mucho que hacer. Aproveche los increíbles parques, el increíble área de juegos en Paco Sanchez, la piscina y el centro de recreación de Barnum, el centro de recreación de Rude, el lago SloanS y mucho más. Ayude a sus hijos a inscribirse en "My Denver Card" en cualquier centro recreativo en Denver. "My Denver Card" brinda a todos los niños (de 5 a 18 años) en Denver acceso gratuito a los centros recreativos, piscinas y actividades culturales de Denver.
